After thorough dispersion, it is evenly distributed on the conveyor belt above the plate magnetic system. Under the influence of gravity, the slurry flows downward along the inclined conveyor belt. The non-magnetic slurry eventually flows into the non-magnetic slurry hopper in the lower trough. The high-intensity magnetic field, reaching up to 15,000 gauss, firmly attracts the magnetic material contained in the slurry to the conveyor belt. The motor drives the drive roller assembly, moving the conveyor belt and the magnetic material on it upward along the inclined direction. The magnetic material on the conveyor belt then enters the non-magnetic field area. Process flow: Large pieces of quartz ore are conveyed to the crushing process through a belt conveyor. According to the characteristics of the quartz ore and the customer’s final requirements for the quartz sand particle size, 1-2 level crushing units will be set up. The crushing process breaks the large pieces of quartz ore into small particles, and then the particles are sent to the ore washing and desludging process through a belt conveyor. The ore washing and desludging process is mainly completed by a drum type ore concentrator. The quartz sand particles enter the drum of the ore washing machine. As the drum rotates, they are rolled, pushed, and rubbed. The dirt, fine sand and part of the oxide scale attached to the surface of the quartz sand particles are cleaned by the washing water. The clean quartz sand particles are discharged from the tail of the ore washing machine and stacked in the temporary storage yard through a belt conveyor. Use tools such as forklifts to put the naturally dehydrated quartz sand particles into the feeding hopper of the grinding process. A vibrating feeder is installed under the hopper to continuously and evenly unload the quartz sand particles in the hopper onto the belt conveyor. The belt conveyor uses a white conveyor belt to effectively avoid color pollution during the transportation process. The quartz sand particles enter the vertical sand making machine and are ground into quartz sand particles of 4 to 120 mesh by the equipment. Then they enter the feeding pit of the bucket elevator through the sand discharge port at the bottom. The quartz sand particles are lifted by the bucket elevator and transported to the screening and impurity removal process. The ground quartz sand particles first enter the drum screen for screening, and the finished quartz sand particles fall into the high-field strength magnetic separator for impurity removal. The remaining high-purity quartz sand particles are sent to the final particle size selection process by the bucket elevator. After joint selection by the linear vibrating screen, high-purity quartz sand particles of different specifications and sizes are respectively packed into finished product packaging. The entire quartz grinding, The screening and impurity removal and particle size selection processes are all carried out in a fully enclosed environment. All tailings generated throughout the entire quartz and feldspar wet production line are collected and sent to the tailings treatment process. First, the tailings slurry is discharged into a thickening tank equipped with a thickener. After initial clarification, the processed water is discharged through an overflow trough. The concentrated tailings slurry settles to the bottom of the tank and is collected by thickening rakes and discharged at the central outlet. It is then pumped by a slurry pump to a ceramic filter for final dewatering. The microporous ceramic plates separate the tailings slurry into solids and liquids, and the separated water can be reused as processing water. The tailings slurry is then transported to the tailings dump via a belt conveyor.
